Oscars 2012

The Oscars this year not only wowed me, but it was the launch pad for new designers as well as a hotspot for old favorites! 

so many beautiful and talented actress dressed to impress and these are my top FIVE gals who worked the red carpet!

The GORGEOUS Drew Barrymore worked a sky blue off shoulder Dior number

which worked with her lovely honey blonde 60's hairdo

Milla Jovovich wore a white Elie Saab one shoulder gown

accompanied by scarlet lips and a flawless complexion!

(now that's old school glamour)

Angelina Jolie rocked her Black velvet  Versace with some serious aplomb                 

(One of my favorites by FAR!)

The wonderful Octavia Spencer nailed it with her ivory   Tadashi Shoji    

dress (perfect for accepting her FIRST Oscar for hit movie The Help)

              And Last of all Meryl Streep stunned everyone in her golden Lanvin number

and with her stunning acting skills earning her a third Oscar she had a lovely golden accessory!

Mila Kunis, Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Maya Rudolph and Bernice Bejo looked gorgeous!

and of course the blokes looked wonderful also, but these lovely ladies made it into my top five, and i'm sticking to it (no matter how hard i want to kick myself!)

Nyasha Matonhodze outshone most of her peers at  London Fashion Week! devastatingly gorgeous and amazingly graceful she had most of the designers in a right tizz!

the Zimbabwe born - Northampton raised model has worked with Louis Vuitton, Topshop and posed for LOVE magazine! 

This starlet is onto wayyyy bigger things!, having already walked the catwalk for Jonathan Saunders, Emanuel Ungaro, and Louise Gray the world is now opening up for this sashaying newbie! 

All Hail Adele

Adele has a INSANE year! (not that she's resting on her laurels) and her recent appearance on US Vouge 

has sealed her transcendence from Tottenham songstress to global superstar.

she's dealt with bitchy jibes from Karl Lagerfeld (Alan Carr dubbed him a vile old queen) and fellow Brit Noel Gallagher (claiming she'll be forgotten like Duffy! Pfft Jog On Mr Oasis) and yet she's come up smelling of roses! 

Yes i'm proud to bellow that this particular Londoner is taking over the world! You Go Girl!
